Every so often I "stumble" upon a true challenge, this was one of those moments! I specifically went out this trip to not kill myself trying to balance a huge stone. Like I stated, I stumbled upon this huge Grey rock & knew I had to "try". There was a little cave behind it & I thought if I could clean out the rocks from the cave & balance this huge rock it would be awesome! Well, it took almost an hour & it truly was awesome! It was actually better in person, when you walked by it really stood out, the size of the rock & it standing on end perched out in front of this little cave that seemed to "frame" it. I guess the moment was better than the photo, but wanted to share it anyways...
peace & God bless

Since the large grey rock is lighter than the surrounding darkness, it looks somewhat like an opening or even the light at the end of the tunnel. Documenting art...especially sculpture and other outdoor art is really challenging. And of course, in your case, the documentation, the photo, becomes a work of art in its own right. Sometimes, at the time of taking the picture, I think I have it just right. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don;t and sometimes what appears in the photo is completely a surprise! Jim.
